Keeping Cool At The Tracks
One goes througha huge pressure when playing at the tracks. The idea of self control is of utmost importance for a player to be successful. A gambler should keep a cool head and stop building any pressure on themselves and avoid making shallow bets. One should avoid making the mistake of betting off season when there are less than promising horses to judge and make a decent win of.
A good gambler, a good move would be to purchase several ticketsin the first race to size the track and the horses up before getting really serious. Sometimes, there isonly a $3 win to a tickets but nothing more. Each win that comes out of this just regarded a bit, but not so seriously.
Most people say that the winners of the tickets are usually people that have thought of almost every contingency in the track (another way of saying that they looked at all the angles). Usually these people have made an extensive plan of their bets and are always looking for the option of spreading it out more in the hopes of catching that winning streak.
A bettor that tries to bet on doubles usually does not pay much and most bettors seem to avoid doing this but when people really need to get cash, it is a viable option.
A bettor who spends $15 and up on bets in two or three playable races is very likely to loose their money quickly for it is never a good idea to spread three races and more. A bettor who usually bets this way is not confident of their skills and tries to cover up the slack by a wide spread. Commendable but not really worth a bettors salt on.
Part of keeping cool is not betting equally on the races. One player may have a favorite horse and bet over a hundred dollars but then only bets five dollars on a horse they dont like. Its alright to bet this way but then look at the effort wasted. Players should be able to try and make unbiased choices in horse races.
One should also strengthen their resolve not to bet cheaply on races that may hamper their betting skills. If a bettor has a proposed plan or strategy, they shouldnt just take a race in and hope it goes for the best but should make sure that it doesnt distract the player from their main goals. One shouldnt spend useless time and effort into reckless bets and races.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion on races but practically speaking, one doesnt really have a lot of cash to spend.
A player who has this mindset and angrily charges on is really doomed from the start and should really watch their game of play.
